Alena Laufrova was born in 1954, lives and works in Prague - drawings, graphics and illustrations are her main fields of expertise. Her Prague, Fraz Kafka's Prague, as well as her free subjects, are created using the techniques of etching and/or dry-point or mixed media.

Studies: 1970-1976; The College of Applied Arts in Prague (Prof. Zd. Sklenar, ass. Jiri Anderle).

Exhibitions: Prague, London, Ostzaan, Posnan, Granada, Sapporo, Los Angeles, Vilnius, etc.

Awards resp. represented in the public or private art collections of: National Gallery, Prague, Ermitage St. Petersburg, Museum Pushkina, Moscow, etc.
